The EVT2R-235AP-164 security tape features a full adhesive transfer when removed. All of the adhesive remains on the surface and no adhesive remains on the tape film. The tamper evident feature will function within one minute of application on the recommended surfaces. Perforated every 6 inches. This security tape is also TSA-CCSP compliant.
Tamper evident security tapes provide a security seal for shipping cartons, pallets, wood crates, envelopes, bags and other containers. The EVT2R-235AP-164 security tape features a full-transfer adhesive, and the adhesive contains a hidden repeating security message. When the tape is removed, all of the adhesive remains on the surface of the container (not the tape film), and a very legible message of "OPENED VOID" is revealed in a repeating pattern. Because the adhesive and film separate when the tape is lifted, the tape cannot be reapplied to obscure the tamper-evident message. This tape is also perforated every 6 inches for use as individual security labels.
This tamper-evident tape is TSA-CCSP compliant.
The full release feature provides reliable tamper evident performance on difficult surfaces, such as:
- Cartons (corrugated cardboard and paperboard) with high recycled content.
- Packaging films -- stretch and shrink wrap
- Paper
- Most Plastics
However, since all the adhesive transfer to the surface, this product is most suitable for disposable packaging.
