Erik Hoffer |
Erik Hoffer is an inventor, entrepreneur, recognized expert and thought leader in the field of transportation and cargo security. He began his career in cargo security while serving in the U.S. military (’65), receiving training and experience while conducting port and logistic operations in Viet Nam. Since then, Erik has created and contributed to over twenty original product technologies in and around cargo security and authenticity and holds many patents. He founded CGM Security Solutions, Inc. in 1977 to manufacture and market his patented technologies in barrier and indicative sealing devices. In May 2011, Mr Hoffer signed agreements with NovaVision to continue operating the company as CGM-NV. In this consultative role for CGM-NV, he is helping the new entity grow the sales and product platform that he developed at CGM Security Solutions Inc. (More details on CGM History)

Mike Messmer has been leading NovaVision since 1998 -- growing revenues from $1 million in 1998 to over $7 million in 2011. This extraordinary growth earned NovaVision recognition in the Inc. 5000 listing for 3 consecutive years as one of the 5000 fastest growing private companies in America. Prior to NovaVision, Mike was with Owens Corning for over 24 years, successfully serving as general manger of a distribution business ($7 million revenues), general manager of the underground tank business ($45 million revenues) and director of logistics for the Composites Division ($1 billion revenues). Mike has an engineering degree and MBA from Purdue University.
